the one you are afraid of is not the one you are afraid of

    this is my driveway by the way, not some
    spooky fucking storage unit or a creaky dock
    ships tethered only to dark

I’ve wondered why there aren’t more lights in Indiana, considered
predating fireflies, lanterning them
so I can see them when they bust toward me

I think of Titans. I think of men.
